Directions
to Centre Congregational Church:
From
north or south: Take Route 91 to Exit 2, go east to US Route 5, turn left
on Route 5 (Main Street) to a large white church on the right (diagonally
opposite the Post Office).
To those of you
planning to attend, Dick Nethercut’s cousin, Carol Edmonds, whose husband Fred
is pastor at Centre Congregational, passed on the following:
There will be a
funeral in the sanctuary at 10:00 also. Please use the ramp and door to
the right of the sanctuary, which is believed to be marked "church
offices". Enter and turn right to the end of the hallway to the Library
where we will meet. There will be signs for AVP posted. The church parking
lot will probably be filled due to the funeral. There are public parking lots
behind the post office on the left hand side, and a half-block north of
the church on the right hand side. It is metered parking so be sure to bring a
supply of quarters. There is a Subway just a bit further up the street on the
right for those of us not bringing our own food. There is a kitchen and
rest rooms downstairs from the library.
For those of you
heading back to Southern New Hampshire or Eastern Massachusetts after the
meeting, there is a special event in Keene, New Hampshire about half an hour
away. It is the annual Pumpkin Festival, which frequently receives
national media coverage.
